Meet our Captain & Boat

Miss Carli is a six (6) passenger offshore charter boat, also known as a "Six Pack" boat.

She is rated to carry 1 to 6 passengers at a time. Many trips are taken with 2 to 3 people.

The Miss Carli is a 38' Topaz (Six Pack Boat) equipped with two air conditioners, toilet, microwave, TV's and much more.

We fish for Amberjack, Bull Redfish, Cobia, Red Snapper, Black Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Triggerfish, Grouper, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Sharks and anything else we can find swimming around.

The Miss Carli is owned by Alex and Michelle Brewer

“Captain Al,” as he is affectionately known by his counterparts and clients, is a licensed charter captain by the U.S. Coast Guard since 2008. Additionally, Captain Al has more than twenty years' experience boating and navigating the Coastal Gulf waters and has a lifetime of marine and fishing experience. This experience equips Captain Al with the resources and knowledge that will enhance customer experience, productivity, fun and satisfaction with Pleasure Island Charters.

Michelle is an avid supporter of the business and is flexible whether sharing as a congenial on-board hostess or as a capable business manager behind the scenes. She will normally be the voice you hear over the phone and will ensure your trip is booked with what you need.

Captain Al and Michelle were blessed with two daughters, Carli and Misti. Misti loves fishing with her dad whether its in the bay or on the gulf. Carli was taken home early in life at the young age of 17. She loved fishing as well and as a tribute to her, the 38' Topaz was completely rebuilt and named in her honor.
